I went to the London South Bank University Graduation and spoke to the 2014 graduates from the Faculty of Arts and Human Sciences and their families, to ask them about their opinions on Art Degrees and why they are important.

I then interviewed MA graduate Afrah Mahmood about how taking two Art degrees have affected her chances of employability and why she choose to pursue that educational path.

I found that many people felt that they had wasted their time in pursuing the Arts. Or that they were struggling to find course related jobs after finishing university. Many parents and families of those who were graduating; although proud of their graduates, mirrored their worries and hopes in the aftermath of pursuing an arts degree.

BOOK QUOTE OF THE DAY
